I am using CR v10. I have a mapping table in MS Excel that I would like to use within Crystal. I need to create a table (report) of running totals in the footer section. Each running total uses a different company(s), accounting unit(s), account(s) mapping combination. Each running total is identified as a column and row location on the report.

For example,
Column 1 Row 1 uses company 1234, accounting unit (67888), and accounts (611111, 611112)
Column 1 Row 2 uses company 2345, accounting units (77888, 75555), and accounts (611197, 611198, 611199) etc.

I would like to use one mapping formula that contains all of the mappings for each column and row combination, each combination identified by its position on the report, Col01Row01, Col01Row02, Col01Row03, etc.

Can I pass the position value, (ie. ColRow01), to the one mapping formula, identify the mapping and then use that mapping in the running total for that column and row location on the report?

I think a shared variables might work. Are there any other alternatives? Thank You.
