Converting a DateTime variable to only a Date variable

How would I go about converting a DateTime variable to only a Date variable. I have a report that determines detail selection if the date falls between the CurrentDate and another date but each time I want to go to a new page of the report it asks if I want to refresh the report because the time has changed from the previous page.

I have looked at CDateTime but this will create a DateTime variable not convert it from a DateTime to a Date variable.

I don't know what version of Crystal you are using but in v7 you could go under the 'file' menu -> 'report options...' and select the convert datetime to date.
