I converted a database from Access 97 to 2000. I need help with rewriting the code for 2000. For example a variable I declared in 97 as Dim Tb1 as Table does not work in 2000? I guess I have to learn more about the ADO/DAO conversion! Any help in this are would be greatly appreciated!

I think you are quite right - you have to learn about ADos. A god book is "Access 2002 Desktop Developers Handbook" by Litwin Getz Gunderloy, published by Sybex, ISBN 0 7821 4009 2. It has a section which describes the pros and cons of DAOs and ADOs and quite a lot of info about what to use when. You should check that you have the right library references. This is described in this book.

Hope this helps
