Converting a 97 db to 2000

THe message that I get when I try to convert my 97 db to 2000 is "There were compilation errors during the conversion or enabling of these database." I also compress the 97 db before converting it.



 
Hi!

You're probably having a problem with the DAO and ADO object libraries. Use the following link to a paper concerning Access 2000 conversions.

P.S. Usually all you need to do is to tell Access to continue, go to the VBA window, and select Tools/References. Find the reference for the DAO 3.6 object library and check mark it. Then move it above the ADO library reference.
