Converting 5.02 program to 5.5

Has anyone converted their C++5.02 programs to 5.5? Have you had much difficulty? Any suggestions?

The biggest problem that I had was in the namespace. 5.02 (pre standard) didn't use the namespace the same way that 5.5 (current standard) does. You will have to remember to set "using namespace std" or use "std::" . I didn't translate a lot of my 5.02 programs over since most were for DOS and I simply rewrote them in Windows GUI anyway; so there may be some more "gotchas", too. James P. Cottingham
