Convert XML file to Word 2003

Please accept my apologies if I am asking a question that has been discussed before. I have no knowledge at all about XML and have a problem at work that I have been unable to solve by Googling!

I have been sent an XML file. It is a form which I assume can be filled out on screen. If I try to open it in Word it just comes out with gobbledygook. I have tried all sorts of things but get nowhere.

Can anybody help me out? Can in fact this file be opened other than in some sort of special XML software. I appear to be under the mistaken impression that Word could read XML documents!

Hi Tom,

Thanks for the link, unfortunately it didn't help. But not to worry, I got the document from another source and solved the problem that way. But I have kept this xml on the computer and one day when I have more time, I will look at it again. All helps increase one's knowledge.
