Convert Word Document to PDF

Hi all!
I am an user of MS Office 2000 and am creating a document using Word and Visio. Which tools are required to convert it into PDF format? Tool I know which are widely used are Adobe Arcobat and/or Distiller. But it is costly afair for me. Is there any cheaper option available?

Hi I have am working on this at the moment.

PC Pro magazine (September 2001) includes a free application called fineprint2000, fineprint pdffactory.

It creates a printer called fineprint you print your document and then it creates the pdf file. Easy peasy.
