Convert Word doc with bookmarks to PDF

I have several doc in word format that want to convert in pdf.
One of those files is an index (index.doc) with links to personalized bookmarks in the others word files.
When I convert the word files to PDF, the links (in the index file) keep linking to the word files.
Is it possible to convert all the links and bookmarks?
