Convert visio 2003 file to visio 2002

I am stuck a colleage upgraded to visio 2003 and sent me a file in that format. Sadly I only have Visio 2002. He went on vacation and I can't open it.

Is there anyway to convert this file without Visio 2003?

Unfortunately not. You need a copy of Visio 2003 to save from Visio 2003 in Visio 2002/2000 format.

I wasn't able to find a converter, but there is a visio 2003 viewer. You can get the install from Microsoft. It allows you to view Viso diagrams using Internet Explorer, and it actually works fairly well. You can't make any changes to the document, but at least you can see the details. Here's the link:
