Skajan, I'm new to Flash, myself, so I don't know how you'd do it in Flash, itself (yet), but I'm aware of an inexpensive application called Flix that will quickly and easily convert any digital video to a SWF file. I've tried the demo version on some videos I shot and edited and had saved in AVI format. One was over two minutes long and Flix converted it in less than a minute, then I was able to play it back, right there in Flix. The video and audio quality were as good as the original.
