convert to runtime text

Has anyone ever experienced this.

I was doing a find and replace of some text (this is the only time I can think of that the conversion may have occured)
The text in question was part of the runtime text version of a DTC on my form. When I was doing the find, it found the text in the runtime text of the control and it appears to have converted it to the runtime text version.

I simply deleted the runtime text and replaced it with a new DTC, but I find that behaviour rather odd and I wondered if anyone may have had a similar thing happen to them.

yeah, converting DTC to runtime allows users to edit stuff manually. handy for when you want to expand the functionality of recordsets etc.
ps instead of cutting and readding your DTC's click View|View Controls Graphically
That should reset them to the more functional graphical display. [sig][/sig]
