I am using CE10 on SQL Database with and ODBC connection and my format is Rich text. I have the report scheduled to run daily to the reflections FTP client. The report does a work wrap and all of my information is left justified. Does anyone know how to format the file in CE10 to keep the columns that have been set before it goes to the FTP folder.

Thans in advance

Are you asking how to preserve formatting by this "keep the columns that have been set"?

The columns shouldn't be eliminated, and it should preserve the justification, please rephrase this.

On CE when you select on rich text it does not state for the columns to stay together or to be eliminated. It only gives you a page range.

I have 7 columns on my report and they wrap to one column. So yes I am asking how to preserve the column format that I have in the report when sending it to and FTP file.

Thanks

FTP has nothing to do with it, that's simply a destination.

If this were a cross-tab report, an RTF might understand that you want a table format, but RTF is primarily a format designed for documents, not data.

In many instances I will create an additional parameter within a report that asks whether they are exporting, and if so, I will conditionally suppress sections and basically have a details section designed to just do a data dump.
