Hi guys,

I am looking to convert a Access report to PDF using either PDFWriter or Distiller, Have searched the forums and all solutions seem to either point at changing the registry which doesnt work for me due to permissions or altering the printer port settings which i also dont have permission to do! Currently i am using SendKeys to enter the file path and press OK but that will only work if my workstation is not locked.

Anyone got any other ideas? ive added the acrobat references and found PdfDistiller.FileToPDF which looks interesting but when i put in

PdfDistiller.FileToPDF "F:\\rpt.rtf", "F:\\rptpdf.pdf"

it says object required, but there is no help on this function and google only brings back 4 options which dont help at all.

Hi

Tis a bit of a nightmare and eventually I gave up!

I use PDFCreator , you can install it and the converter acts as a printer, so in your code all you do is print the report using the PDFCreator printer and voila..it converts it to PDF.

Hope this helps!
