Convert Raid 1 To Raid 5 in DL380 1

Hi all

I am looking to Convert\Expand a two disk raid 1 to a 6 disk Raid 5 in a DL380 G3 Server. Has anyone done this before ?
In the ACU there is a button for changing RAID levels but have never explored this option.
Of course I want to keep the data in tact, but will have a backup in case.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi All

I sorted my problem after doing some test and a quick call to HP. RAID Migration can be done on some HP controllers while on line - No data loss.
I added my new larger drives to the array and select expand then I was able to select Migrate from RAID1 to RAID 5. After some hours and a reboot the Win2003 saw the new drive space and I could have created a new partition, however I did a DISPART to extend my data partition. You must be in safe mode and have SP1 or the hot fix before this will work.
I nmunutes I have my new larger Data parttion with data still in tact.
The whole exercise has taken the bulk of the weekend, but has been worth it.
