We have may PowerPoint files that contain many images. The problem is that most of the images have been scanned in an inefficient format type, eg bitmap, which often has resulted in Powerpoint files > 30Mb.
I know there is an option to compress all pictures in a presentation and have found that this will result in the 30mb files being reduced to say 10Mb.
However I believe that if I was to convert all the images to jpeg, this would result in the same Powerpoint file being reduced to < 1Mb. This would obviously be very laborious to convert each graphic manually. Does anybody know of any tools or method to automate this process.
