Convert pdf to word doc keeping formatting

I have a pdf file that I need to put into word in order to change some lines. I need to keep the formatting also. We do not have a "puchased" version of adobe - we just have the free reader you can download.

I tried save as and save copy as and all I get is text - no formatting.

Is this possible?

I think you'll need a third party app like Solid PDF Converter or something similar.
I've never used one, but you can try a couple of trial downloads to see which one works best for you.
Most of them work without purchasing a full version of Acrobat.
