I'm not familiar with Paradox files. But I need to convert some to Access97 database. Do I need an ODBC driver? Where can I get it? What is the best way to do this? Someone once said "the current version of BDE (v5.1.1) can open Access97 tables natively, e.g. as if they were Paradox or dBASE tables. This means you can now use Paradox for Windows as a front-end for Access97 and below." Does this mean that it can export Paradox files to Access97? Am I on the right track? Do I need an expensive tool?
Thanks.

If you have the Access ODBC driver, you can open Access tables with Paradox.

If you have the Paradox ODBC driver, you can open Paradox tables with Access.

I believe once the table is open in the other package, or if you have the ODBC driver for the other package, you can do a "save as" to the other format if desired. There should be a combobox or some other method to change the format.
