convert Outlook 2003 pst to Outlook 2000 pst

Does anyone know of a utility that lets you convert one of the newer PST files to an Outlook 2000 PST. I realise that it can be done maually by copying the folders to an old style PST but we have several 100 new style PST to go through

You cannot convert them as they are different file formats and the newer unicode format is not recognised by older versions of Outlook. As you have said, you must use Outlook 2003 to create a legacy (ANSI) PST and then copy the items from the newer Unicode PST to the legacy (ANSI) PST. You can then use the ANSI PST in Outlook 2000.

Don't know if you can find something to automate that, but that is what it will have to do.
