Convert Numbers to Literal Word

Is there a function to change "1" to "one"?

I'm using this for a different application, which uses VBA for formulas.

There is no standard function but several have been written in code - mainly for automated cheque writing so they tend to have monetary values attached and be tied to the typical monetary amounts being raised - I think the search engine here is down but a decent example can be found here:
