I have a number value of 6.1 Hours which I would like to display as 6:06 (6 HRS 6 MINS)

Date In Out Hours(decimal)
Sat 14 Jul 05:52: 11:58: 6.10

Formula used to get 6.1 Hours
(((hour({Clock_On_Clock_Off.Actual_Date_Off})*60)+minute({Clock_On_Clock_Off.Actual_Date_Off}))
-((hour({Clock_On_Clock_Off.Actual_Date_On})*60)+minute({Clock_On_Clock_Off.Actual_Date_On})))/60

Using Crystal 2008 with SQL and Windows XP

Hi,

Date/Time values have units of DAYS.

Convert your HOURS to DAYS and then use one of the normal Date/Time TIME formats.

Better yet, you don't have to do handstans and cartwheels. Just take your [Date In Out Hours] and just format as minutes & tenths!

Skip,
