Convert MS Excel Data to oracle tables?

I have an excel file which i want to transfer the data to oracle. How do i get th'gh this. Do i need to convert the excel file to a comma separated file and use sqlload. If any one can help me by writing a piece of code that will be great.

SQLoader can do this - there are examples in the docs (utilities manual)

If you are using Oracle applications, you might want to look into Oracle Applications Desktop Integrator. Our accounting people use ADI all the time to upload spreadsheets directly to Oracle Apps.
