Convert MDB to ACCDB in VBA 1

Something I thought would be easy, but I can't find any documentation on how to do it.

Anyone with an idea?

Background - I'm upgrading a previous backend with multiple changes using another Access app to run update queries and table changes in a development environment. Converting to ACCDB is near the end of that process before adding some attachment fields to the odd table.

open database, from the 'file' tab click save & publish, choose database file type, save DB.

....thanks 1dmf, but I probably wasn't clear enough - I want to achieve this in VBA code, not from the user interface.

Anyone done this?

Record a macro performing the desired steps?

There is no macro recorder in Access. You might want to check out this thread in Access Answers.

OH, my bad! Duane, don't do macros , made an assumption.
