I'm stumped, again !

The are many posts about converting, but none that I could find using just a back-up card.

I have a customer in another state that I can't IP or dial into to get a backup on a PC. I do however have a copy of their Magix V3.0 back-up card.

Using just this 3.0 back-up card, is there a way, using SPM, to convert and load it on a Magix 4.0 Lab processor? It would help if I had a 3.0 processor, but I don't right now..

Thanks you everyone's help over the years, it's made life a little easier.

You need to have the backup on a pc to do a convert. Without an R3 to load that config you are out of luck.

Telecomboy,

Wow ! not at all what I wanted to hear but thank you for the fast response.

Yes, as Telcom said, you need a 3.0 Processor.

Just load the Backup PCMCIA on an R3.0 Processor and THEN you can connect with a PC, do your PC BACKUP, and THEN you can convert it.

If you don't have one...............

Thanks Merlinman,

I was just trying to avoid traveling to the site.

wireboy,

Yes I drove there, got a copy and converted it to 4.0 on my Lab switch.

I would be interested in hearing your solution though.
