convert jpeg into text format

I save some text as a jpeg file and am trying to find a converter to convert it back to text format. Is there a tool available to do this?

Print the file.
Take it to your local copy show and ask them to do an OCR scan into .txt format for you.

By the way, I did not offer the comment above as a trivial one. This honestly is the best way to handle the issue in my belief.

there is a number of programs to do this. none to my knowlage are cheap.
what you are looking for is an OCR program.


if you only have one image to do I think bcastner has the best idea.

.txt to .jpg is relatively easy.

.jpg to .txt is a scanner issue.

Your local copy shop likely has the facilities to do OCR. There is no simple way to do jpg to txt.

Hey I know this isn't my post, but I've been looking around for a way to convert .txt into .jpg.
