I published a web to a cd at home. Brought it to work and tried to open it. I couldn't because of the ".lck" file. So I copied it to my FP directory, deleted the .lck file, and opened it. Now, however, after making quite a few changes I discover it is not a web (doesn't have the web icon), but a folder. How can I convert it to a web? I'm afraid if I try to publish it to my website I will have problems. (It will be published to a subweb.) In the Help file of FP 2002, there is "convert web to folder" but not the reverse.

The strange thing is when I go to "open web" in FP, the file shows the icon as being a web. When I look at it in Windows Explorer, there is no web icon; it shows the file as a folder. ?????

It still shows the file without the icon after rebooting. But concerning the _vti_bin files and _vti_pvt and _vti_cnf-- I thought at one time I could see those files from Front Page. Now I can't - only in Windows Explorer. Do YOU see those files in Front Page? Thanks
