i need save as file eml (Outlook express file) to text file in vb please help me.

If you have Outlook Express on the machine, I think you can use the MAPI controls...

Failing that you could use a library to decode the file...

As far as I know the MAPI controls don't access Outlook Express. There is a commercial interface for OE available from:

http://www.nektra.com/products/oeapi/announce.html

but I've not used it, so can't comment on it's effectiveness

I could be wrong (the ol' memory not being what it once was) but I think I used MAPI controls a few years ago to get at a messages on Outlook Express a few years ago on a project for a previous employer.

Outlook Express supports (most of) Simple MAPI.
