Hello all,
This is my first post/first question.
I've started using Adobe Premiere Pro on WinXP a while ago
and currently learning how to use it.
I'm doing a small project/video clip for which I'll mix various video clips taken from divx movies.

My questionis:
How can I export a portion, say, 10 seconds off a full Divx movie and save it as AVI so that I can import it in Premiere and use it there?

So far, I've tried importing a full divx into Premiere, then cut-up the pieces I wanted. It didn't work, didn't render or anything. So I wonder if I have to use another piece of software to do the trick.

Let me know, thanks alot!!

Several freeware programs can do this conversion. Try Virtual Dub (via Google).
