Convert decimal number to hh:mm 1

Hi,
I have a field which shows time as a number which I need to convert to hh:mm.
Examples are 3.63 hours (which is 3.63 of an hour = 217.8 minutes) and 0.50 hours (which is 0.60 of an hour = 30 monutes)
These figures come directly from a previously created view.

Can anyone help with a formula to convert my values to h:mm, which is easier to read and understand?

Convert the value to secs and then use faq767-3543, setting the variable 'dur' equal to the seconds.
