From the menu, File > Options, there are two options for converting Null values to defaults - one for Database values and the other for all other fields.
(I know there is also the Report Options one as well but I'm interested in making all my reports the same.)
My questions are "What causes one or both of these options to be disabled? How does one reenable them?" This issue is independent of whether I can check the boxes.
