convert db file to fp5

I have a filemaker file with extension *.db (I think it's MAC). I need to import the data to anything that can see it. When I convert in Filemaker 5.5, it doesn't convert all the data. I don't care if I import into Excel or Access. I just need to see the data. Any ideas?

Have you tried to save the file out as text, I have luck in the past with that, I often get files from our clients in obscure formats.

When you say "... doesn't convert all the data", does that mean some of it is converted? What do you get and not get?
This sounds a little like a data problem to me.

Thank you for responding. The file was originally created in MAC. He was able to open the file and save it as a fp5 file. This worked.
