Convert crystal report to cognos report?

Urgent ... can anyone list the steps how to convert crystal reports into cognos reportnet?? ..please any idea or brief explanations will be great, iam new to crystal reports and in my project they wanted to convert crystal reports to cognos reports.

Rebuild them by using a migrated metadata layer. Cognos offers a migration path for BO universes (If that is what crystal reports use)
However, Reportnet is already old. We're talking a third version of Cognos 8 since a couple of months..

Cognos framework offers the possibility to read other metadata sources. It distinguishes 4 universe versions ranging from 5.1 universe to 11.0.
You need to have the unv. file available and a installed designer client:

The bridge relies on the Business Objects Designer OLE/COM API to import
the Universe metadata. Therefore, Business Objects Designer must be
properly installed on the machine executing this bridge.

The import path name corresponds to the name of the Universe file to import.
