My company is in a process of working with LEC (Verizon) to converst our B1 lines (via DID or CO trunk) to Local PRI T1. I like to find how it works (e.g. install and turn-up processes, etc.) and most importantly to determine what exactly the equipment (e.g. CSU, DS1 cards, etc.) we as cutomer need for our PBX, currently Avaya ACM1.3 S8700. Thanks in advance for your advices!

For an ISDN-PRI circuit you will need a TN464 DS-1 board and a CSU. The Avaya 120A ICSU works well with a TN464F or higher board. The 120A plugs on the back of the carrier, does not require shelf space or power. The 120A should come with a cable to go from the CSU to the Network Interface (NI). You need to check the Customer Options form to make sure that ISDN-PRI is enabled (display system customer-options).
