Hello,
I've checked a couple of posts here with similar dramas so I guess i just need some advice on versions.
I have a clarion 2.1 dat file called products.dat and two dozen other related dat files that I want to export to CSV format via a command line utility. This will be used as an external app for a .NET app.
I've tried all these tables in The CLARION Converter - Version 2.1 Release 218A but can not open them. But I can view them in CLARION Scanner - Version 2.1 Release 2105.
I've tried Degisy's clrtocsv, clrtopdx and clrtodbf which work brilliantly on all tables except product.dat but I can view and export it via their other product db Workshop 5, so I'm sure that it is not corrupted.
Table has 62 fields and only smallint, integer, string and bcd datatypes.
Here is the design
The the tables belong to Version 2.1 Release 2110
If it's an ownerid problem I haven't got a clue as to how get around it. How does one find the ownerid of a dat file?
So far no response from degisy.
I hope this is enough information, I think from reading others posts here that it maybe versioning that is the problem.
Many, many thanks for your time
Anthony
