I have a complex formula, so I created cell labels to reference in my formulas. I think that this might confuse my co-workers and I would like to be able to convert back to A1 references. Seems like I have done this in the past and it was easy, but I can't seem to find this solution. Age or something... Any help would be appreciated.

Yogi, thank you for your reply. I tried this method and it did not work, so I Googled for more answers.

Found more information.
You cannot "unapply" names; to delete names, use the Delete method.

John Walkenbach's "Power Utility Pak v6" Add-in tools for Microsoft Excel does have a "Unapply Names". I downloaded free trial and it worked fine.

After converting names to cell references, I then tested to see if unchecking box would allow me to use cell names in formulas. It did not allow.

Thanks again.
