Convert ASCII to XML

How do I convert a flat ASCII data file to XML format?

I read the data that comes from a flat ascii file into vb 6; I edit it and re output as ASCII format. however client has requested to output to xml format.

Please help.

Your client should tell you in this case what structure should the XML file have.
XML is just another text-file. A file you would create could look simply as:
<Data>
... ascii data read from the original file.
</Data>
and there you have it. Xml file containing the data from the original file. [red]Nosferatu[/red]
