I want to make a PowerPoint presentation a self-running executeable file. I have looked for a conversion program but have not found one that works. Preferable a freeware or shareware program.

Would a PPS format not work?? Also, when you say "self running" - what do you mean? Does it have to start on the basis of an event, or when you start the machine or.....?

Hasit,

Saving as PPS format is not what I want. The user still needs Powerpoint to run. This file is 50MB, has images and music. I also saved as HTML and that works except no audio.

Self running means the file will run w/o Powerpoint or a view installed. Execute the Powerpoint file as if user had the program but run just this file.

Look under File there is an option Pack and Go this does what you want
