convert a php web page to static html files?

Has anyone seen a tool to convert a php web page to a static html file? For example, I could pass the function the URL and the variables it needs to create the different pages.

Look into PHP's output buffering functions:

http://www.php.net/manual/en/ref.outcontrol.php

This means you can "capture" the output of your script as a variable, and then do whatever you want with it, such as save it to html. -------------------------------------------
