I am working ont his project in MS access. What I need to do is figure out how to convert a normal day (ex. 01/13/2006) to its day number (ex. 2006013) that is it takes the day number of the year, and puts it behind the year. I am almost certain this needs to be done in VBA, but I am not to familiar with it. Any help that can be provided would be greatly appreciated.

1000*Year([DateField]) + Format([DateField], "y")

Hope This Helps, PH.
