Hi All,
I am familiar with
Converting Pre-Recorded Name, Greeting and Announcement Files for Embedded Voicemail

Need assistance on converting .c11 to WAV for Voice Mail Pro.

LVM Greeting Utility Tool is used for converting WAV files into the format c11.

What tool or app is used for converting c11. to Wavs?

I really don't think it's possible due to the compression format, it's a lossy one, it means all the original informations could not be restored

Search the forum as I recall this was discussed sometime ago but the conclusion was that it wasn't really possible.

Thanks, ipohead for the reply. Will search again.

This can be done with the "SysmonDB" program. This is a un-published application used for debugging monitor traces and such.
You can drag and drop the c11 files right into the program window and it will convert them to wav. You have to do it one at a time.

I'll give out a copy to anyone that wants it for 1 Bitcoin :)

You can use Audacity (a free open source program) to do the import.

Go to File -> Import -> Raw Data and specify U-Law, 1 Channel (Mono), 8000 Hz sample rate:

Once imported you can export as Wav. If you export as 16-bit PCM Wav then it'll import straight into Voicemail Pro (sample rate 8000 Hz, but this will be default as that's what your source is).

Thank you both AA Con and Shaun E for the replies, will attempt!
