We have an SBS server that is using Windows backup to crate an image of itself.
The image consists of individual VHD files .
It looks like windows backup is creating animage for the System reserved partition on HDD1.

I want to convert these VHD files into VMDK files so that I can import them onto ESXI.

is there a way to join them back o that the System reserved becomes part of the 1st HDD again or dont i have to worry about it ?

Just use vmware converter to perform a p2v.

Biglebowskis Razor - with all things being equal if you still can't find the answer have a shave and go down the pub.
