Is there a preference or control on the CMYK values inDesign assigns when converting PMS spot color to process? Pantone has its own values which are different than inDesign's.

Any help appreciated.

My experience is that when you convert a Pantone spot to process in ID, the cmyk values are an exact match to the cmyk values specified on the process side in the Pantone Solid to Process Guide book.

As a check I just loaded P306C, P5275C & P7497C. I converted all to process and the cmyk values exactly matched values in the Pantone Solid to Process Guide book.

Using OSX 10.3.9 on a G4
