Hi everyone:

WE have an Access frontend which used to be linked to an Access backend. The frontend stored all the queries and forms and reports, while the backend housed the tables.

Recently we converted the backend to MS SQL Server 7 and now our Reports are not working anymore. We are getting errors like:

"The Microsoft Jet database engine could not execute the query because it contains a field that has an invalid data type."

However, when I run the query by itseldf it works great.

Any ideas? Thanks! Take Care,
Mike

maybe some of the fields types have changed during the conversion to SQL7 ...
try to generate a fast report based on the same query and see if it works
