We have a farm of 6 servers. We use a Desktop published application. All 6 servers a part of Desktop. Is there a way stop a specific user from ever getting to 1 specific server? Here's the scenario: We run an application that uses a private business network over frame relay to connect to a provider's mainframe. To do this, we had to add a secondary IP address provided by the Frame relay provider to each server. Problem is, we were assigned 5 IP addresses and we just added the 6th terminal server. So TS6 does not have the necessary secondary IP address to use this application.

It's too much of a hassle to get a different pool of addresses, or additional addresses. So what I would like to do is to make sure that the couple of users who use this application, never go to TS6.

I know I can set up specific connections to the servers in their Program Neighborhood, but my preference would be that they use Desktop. So I would like them to click Desktop, but make sure they never go to TS6. Any suggestions on the best way to do this?

Thanks.

I think all that you would have to do is pretty simple. Don't publish the application to your 6th TS.
