I have a report which is infact a document, these were originally generated using Word Templates. They now want to move away from this using CR9 on an Oracle 9 database, where data will be held in fileds nad memo fields.

Report work fine, however, when they used Word they simply typed a simple command in the document header
eg((D,3;2;C,1)) The printer uses Auto Print Technology which then knows not to print this text and use Tray 3 as Default, Page 1 use tray 2, and then print copy on tray 1.
This ensures Headed paper is used for front page and follow on paper is used for rest of document and any copies are plain white.

However, if I use same text block in Crystal running through Crystal Offline viewer, it seems to be treated as a graphic and thus printer does not see the first text box.

Two questions
1 Is there any way of stopping the report being treated as a graphic from the Crystal Offline Viewer.

2 I suspect that the answer to 1 is No, so.
Does any one have any examples of printer commands in ASP which I may be able to use in conjuction with Enterprise 9 Events. So that I can break report into 3 elements. One report for page 1, rest of report will be report two and then run third report which is whole report (1 & 2) again. ASP will then direct relevant reports to correct printer tray.

Thanks in advance

Ian
