I have one report containing 3 matrixes. Frustrated with 2 seperate but related issues. By the way, the content of report is meeting our needs, it is the format that is the issue...

Problem 1: one matrix spreads to the right much more than needed. Is there a way to control or lock column size?

Problem 2: two matrix side by side, left is fine, right is pushed all the way to right side - off screen and requires user to scroll over. White space between them.

Or maybe - is there a good resource/link to learn more about this kind of properties for RS? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

1: Set the cells "Can Increase to Accomodate contents" property to false

2: Check the sizing and placement of the matrices esp the location of the right hand matrix in relation to the no. of columns and size of columns on left matrix.

If sizing / position is ok, try placing the matrices in their own rectangles - these seem to help with position bleeding..

Rgds, Geoff

We could learn a lot from crayons. Some are sharp, some are pretty and some are dull. Some have weird names and all are different colours but they all live in the same box.

Thanks Goeff, I will give it a try.
