Hello there -
As a VB6 programmer who will now being more stand-alone Access development, I am in the process of getting used to the Access way of app design. My question today is how do I maintain consistency in the size of the form (detail section) so that the size of the form during design-time is the same size at run-time? What happens is I find I invariably get extra space on the right and/or the bottom when I switch from design view to "run" view.

Hello,

One thing I did long ago was to create a small label in the lower right of the form, then flipped to form view. Kept adjusting placement until it always filled screen. Then hid the label and used that as my template for all other forms. This assumes you either have no form header or one that doesn't vary in size.
