I'm using CR8.5. How can I control the color of a simple bar chart, charting 4 records? I just want white, gray, white, gray, for example. Is there a way to create a custom template for this? TIA,

Should be the same as V8. But let me know if it is different:

Preview the report, launch the analyzer and select a single bar.

Then use:
Analyzer -> Format Chart -> Selected Item Ken Hamady
Crystal Reports Training/Consulting and a
Quick Reference Guide to VB/Crystal (including ADO)

Thanks Ken - I found the problem was that the chart was in a subreport in report header a - as soon as I moved it out of report header a, voila! the analyzer was available!

Thanks again,
