Heres what happens. You come on to my page... A new window pops up with the flash movie... the user then needs to be able to click on a link in the movie to navigate to somewhere on the original or "parent" page.

I thought that this would be as simple as defining the target in the get url command as "_parent" however this is NOT working for me. The movie sees it's window as the parent. I'm wondering how I go about controlling this.
Thanks for the help!

What happens to the popup window once you click the link?
Does it close?
Can't you design your original page to hold your intro movie in a frameset, so your original menu is always visible... or becomes visible at the end of the intro swf?

Posting the url of what you have now always help us to understand! Picture = Thousand words!

Beware... All of this may be CPU INTENSIVE!
Just joking! But I am serious about my first questions!
Would probably help answering your second thread!

LOL
Very cruel Old!

Sounds like a Java problem unless you follow Old's offer to put it in the same page.
