I have upgraded my three servers from Solaris 6 to 7. When I do the upgrade, I run into problems where the controllers renumber. Why does this occur? Any solutions?

controllers renumbered

Probably with the origonal install, the controllers were added over a period of time so they were numbered in the order they were added. The upgrade would have probed for the hardware setup and then numbered the controllers in the order it found them. I don't know of any way to keep the numbering of the controllers.
