Does anyone know anyway of restricting acess to the 'Net Send' command in a Windows NT network without restricting access to 'net use' and the rest of the 'net.exe' commands?
No, but i believe if you disable the messeger service users will no longer be able to net send each other instead of actually doing a little work for a change.
If I stop the messenger service then the users will not be able to recieve messages from the IS department, all I'm wanting is for general users to be unable to send 'net sends', but to still be able to use 'net use' and 'net time'
